POST YOUR COMMENTRumor: the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP sensor with 0.6µm pixels, 5,000mAh battery

Next year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 5,000mAh battery, the same capacity as the S22 Ultra now, according to leakster Ice Universe. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the new chip will have further efficiency improvements over the 8+ Gen 1, which itself was a notable improvement on the 8 Gen 1 that is actually inside the S22 series.

There is a very good chance that the S23 series will use Snapdragon chips exclusivelywhile the Exynos division reorganizes and tries to build a more competitive flagship chipset.

Rumor: the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP sensor with 0.6µm pixels, 5,000mAh battery

the battery capacity is the same, does that mean that Samsung will stick with 45W charging as on the S22 Ultra? It’s quite possible, but charge speed can still increase. For example, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is expected to have a 25W power rating, the same as its predecessor, but it should charge faster, getting to 50% in half an hour, up from 33%.

The Cat has been speculating about the 200MP sensor that will be featured in the new Ultra. The leakster suspected that it is neither the 1/1.22” 0.64µm HP1 nor the 1/1.4” 0.56µm HP3, but instead a yet to be released HP2.

It seems that a source has now confirmed that the new flagship will use the ISOCELL HP2, a sensor with 0.60µm pixels. This should put the optical format in the same 1/1.33” range as the current Ultra. The other camera modules may not see many changes.

Note that the render included above may not be representative of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra design at all. The 2022 Ultra dropped the camera bump and there may not be a reason to bring it back if the main camera sensor isn’t any larger.

Samsung Galaxy S22ultra gets 45W charger

Samsung will bring back the 45W charging standard to its smartphones, starting with the   Galaxy S22 Ultra,   leakster Roland Quandt reveals. He shared an image of the new PD charger with the model number EP-T4510, which will obviously be sold separately. The travel charger will come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the retail package, according to the leaked image. If the leakster is correct, this would mean we'll once again see a Galaxy smartphone with 45W charging. The last one was the  Galaxy S20 Ultra , introduced in February 2020. Back then the 45W charger would throttle extremely quickly and barely made any difference in charging speeds compared to the 25W one. The current 45W adapter looks very similar, and also comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. The main difference on the outside is the smaller size of the upcoming EP-T4510 compared to the current EP-TA845XBNG. The included cable will be 1.8 meters long, which is longer than the current 1-meter cable. The cu...
